Sheldon Alexander is a powerhouse drummer whose grooves pulse with the soul of jazz, R&B, funk, and other Afro-rooted genres.
A graduate of the California Jazz Conservatory, Sheldon is an integral part of the Bay Area music scene, performing at renowned venues like Bird & Beckett, Mr. Tipple’s, Dawn Club, Black Cat and many more. He has collaborated with many notable local musicians, including Marcos Silva, Erik Jekabson, Dann Zinn, Jeff Denson, Liberty Ellman, Frank Martin, Giulio Xavier Cetto, Lilan Kane, Anthony Ant, Daniel Herrera and Veotis Latchison, as well as recorded with artists such as Oddity, Vaughn Cannon, and the California Honeydrops.
Through dedication and a deep respect for the roots of the music he plays, Sheldon Alexander has established himself as a dynamic performer, educator, and leader, with a growing reputation for his artistry and authenticity.

Alan Jones is a 22 year-old Bassist and Composer from Denver, Colorado dedicated to honoring the legacy of Black American Music through performance and composition. He has shared the stage with greats such as Matt Wilson, David Sanchez, Ed Simon, Christopher Clarke, Carmen Bradford, Chad Lefkowitz-Brown, Kristen Strom, and Keith Oxman. He currently studies with Matt Brewer and Scott Pingel at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Vinyl in the Vines at Jax brings together music, wine, art, and style for an evening that flows into an open-air dance party in the heart of SoMa. Browse a curated vintage and pre-loved designer pop-up from Vira the Label, experience artwork by Nowandformerly, and settle in for an unforgettable soundtrack provided by BODY SF. Dance party from 8:00 PM until midnight. This event is 21+. $10 admission at the door.
Body SF x Extended Play is a DJ crew based in San Francisco. We throw DIY parties on a custom sound system in warehouses across the city. Our music is rooted in deep house and techno, but we explore many genres in service of dance. Our party is a circle that starts and ends with you.
